About Me

My name is Jared Silver, and I'm a 34-year-old adventurer born in South Africa.

I started my career as a builder, working hard to hone my craft and develop the skills needed to succeed in the industry. But after a few years, I realized I was hungry for something more. So I decided to follow my passion for the ocean and set my sights on a career in yachting.

Over the next decade, working on mega yachts up to 140m, I worked my way up from a deckhand to a first mate on some of the most luxurious superyachts in the world. I loved every moment of my time on the water, But eventually, I knew it was time for me to move on to the next chapter of my life. And that's when I met my lovely Kiwi wife and started a family. We decided to move to beautiful Wanaka, New Zealand, which we now call home.

These days, I'm still a handyman at heart, with an eye for detail and a practical, friendly approach to getting things done. Whether you need help with a home renovation project, some basic repairs around the house, or some friendly advice on tackling a DIY challenge, I'm here to help.
